Account deletion

Froodie includes permanent account deletion inside the app. This is the fastest option because it securely uses your signed-in session.
Delete inside Froodie
- Open Froodie and sign in.
- Open the You tab.
- Scroll down and select Delete account.
- Read the billing notice and confirm Delete account.
- Wait for the app to return you to sign-in. If you used Apple sign-in, follow the displayed Apple Account cleanup reminder if desired.
Deleting Froodie does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel first in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Froodie.
What is deleted
The confirmed request deletes your authentication account and the Froodie records linked to it, including pantry items, preferences, meal plans, generated recipes you own, shopping-list data, cooking history, usage records linked to the account, and registered push tokens. Cloud providers may retain limited operational or payment records under their terms or legal obligations.
If you cannot access the app
Send a deletion request to froodie.support@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. Include “Froodie account deletion” in the subject. We may need to verify account ownership before acting. Do not send your password or full payment details.
After deletion
Deletion cannot be undone. Creating a new account later does not restore the deleted kitchen history. Apple purchase history and refund records remain controlled by Apple.
